I have no time to record separately then combine into one ( guitar and piano + keyboard percussion ) and some piano part still having difficulties to improvise into better version so i give up using my own playing.

Mashup ( Outbound Love + Drenched )

Trying something new with my digital piano today.
I'm blending two of my favorite songs together to create a new one, which is, we call it a mashup.

This is quite simple.

I was playing 'Outbound Love' and when it came to the end of verse two the melody of "Drenched" suddenly popped into my mind so i continued playing the song blending in the chorus part of 'Drenched' using the same key which i was using for the first song earlier so it became something like this...




It sounds not bad when this two songs combined into one and sorry lar if my version is not too convincing.
Then you try yourself lar. =)

Outbound Love (drama)

"Outbound Love" is one of the latest dramas that i love especially the chinese theme song called " Wish i could hate you " that you will never miss whenever the episode starts to play. Frankly speaking i wasn't that into this song the first few times i heard until i was told that the lyrics was actually written by one of my friends, Vinc Teh, a part time lyricist who writes a lot of lyrics for some of the TVB dramas, and that's when i only start concentrating on the meaning of that lyrics, then to the melody. Not only i was attracted because of the song, the strong story line about a guardian angel who never fails to do anything that can make the girl he likes happy, even when the girl is engaged with another guy, all he wants is to just see her smile. And yeah..most of the scenes of this drama was taken from Malaysia, Penang. The two leading roles are played by Ruco Chan and Aimee Chan. Strongly recommend you to dl and watch at home =) Romantic siol.

The best part is that after all the things they've been through, fate brings her back to him when they coincidentally meet each other again in Penang.

The girl is toooo lucky to have all the guys love and protect her ! * Oooii back to reality

Just finished watching the last episode so i decided to make a cover of the song this night.

Well the difficult part of this song is that it starts off with a low pitch note to a higher pitch that makes it hard to sing no matter what key you use. I did a lower key for the entire song as i'm going to improvise the chorus part to one key higher at the end.

I filled my entire day playing with my instruments plus own singing.
Every song played by ear so don't expect to hear something similar to original.
I've tried my best though =)

First, i tried singing " wrecking ball " by Miley when playing it on my piano and i guess this song isn't that suitable for my voice.

Third, "Roar" was playing on the radio in the car earlier so i come home trying to search the whole song in you tube to play it with my guitar and of course, not forgetting the catchy beat by adding the percussion to it. Not bad. First time playing this song by ear and surprisingly the chords are quite easy.

I've never played it before until today after work, i came home and feeling like playing it out the tune that stuck in my head since last night.

Each and every song i play on piano tells a story.
I don't play classical, rock, and to be honest i don't even know how to read piano notes after quitting when i was 16. Maybe my passion for it just ain't enough.

I seldom play piano, only when i have something i wish i could share but unable to tell.
So when i play, simply means i have a story to tell, and that's something that relates to the song, and those are the things that are not forgotten for a lifetime.
I get way too sentimental easily over songs, lyrics, stories, videos, and......memories.

And tonight, i have something to share, but no one to tell.

Plucking this new song at night before i sleep.I can hear my clock ticking.It shows 12.46 am right now.
This is to make sure i won't get up in the middle of night because i really need a good night's sleep.
And that's something i always do whenever i need to think a problem through.
I'm currently addicted to this mandarin song after listening the cover did by Jason Chen.
I wasn't singing along because i don't really familiar with the song and lyrics.

Received a text from his sister, Hui Pei out of the blue.We had a short conversation and ended it by promising to keep in touch with each.I still love his three beautiful sisters who used to...kinda take care of me whenever i pay a visit.
