REVIEW : Kung Fu Taboo

Remember that I told you before I have a friend who writes a number of film scripts for local movies?

Apparently Ge Mei Liang is one of the local movies script she wrote. And now I’m here to introduce you another Malaysian film called Kung Fu Taboo ( released on 26 February 2015 ) and the script of this movie, again, is originally written by her. Yay! The movie is classified under P13 so please please please bring your family members or your kawans to go watch this Chinese new year comedy film, starring Kara Hui ( a Hong Kong based Chinese actress and will be familiar to you if you’re a TVB drama freak ), Henry Thia ( Singaporean actor and comedian, confirm laugh your head off non stop la with him acting in the movie ), Frederick Lee, and another highlight star THEBOMB.COM actress will be JANUARY SO! Super lenglui mannnn TBH I didn’t know her at all until my scriptwriter friend keeps talking about her the other day then I betahan I go stalk stalk her instagram first...Whoaaa

With the pair of bright shining eyes framed with long lashes, full lips with the killing red lipstick and that innocent stare that probably drives all of us crazy...She's just..
She is SO ridiculously photogenic in each and every picture gosh I hate that #LOL

Back to the main point,

The movie is all about a number of things and practices that are prohibited and restricted by this one Chinese Martial Arts house to stop the bad thing ( that was being told by a monk ) from happening ( a story associated with one world war history as to why they end up fighting among each other to get back all the broken pieces of the scroll the leader of house possessed.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time watching the movie and don't you worry about the plot as it was super easy to understand. You can find a lot of funny scenes in the movie that make you laugh so hard you can cry!

Oh yea one more thing to tell, please do not leave your seat until the end of the movie ( Please stay until the closing credits finish playing on the screen as the crucial part of the entire movie falls at the end!

( Review ) Faux Cils Papillon Waterproof Mascara by Loreal

I walked into this drug store and was searching for a waterproof mascara without any specific brand in mind hoping to get something within my budget until i saw those tags were all out of my price range. Determined not to waste any time i stooped down to get one of the cheapest from the compartment and was about to make my way leave, i then approached by one beautiful sales girl with the longest real lashes i've ever seen on any asians ( She nodded yes with that smug look on her face when i asked if that's real ).

I told her my concerns about getting one but can't afford she then made another a few steps to reach this mascara from another section (i was told that's the mascara she was using on her lashes btw ) she made a great effort in trying to promote and explain this new product she was holding before she tried to apply it on my lashes to test test a bit. 

Well what i can say is, not the speech but the result and discount that made me convinced of the dramatic effects in getting one of those. It's slightly out of my price range and it's a little too much to spend on something like this but after trying a few times at home, it's certainly worth the price that i've paid! So here, this is the Faux Cils Papillon Waterproof Mascara by Loreal that i've purchased from the store.

This mascara is one of the best recommendations especially for those who don't have a naturally curled up & super short lashes because this mascara can :

- Lengthen and Volumize your lashes
- Super waterproof ( It stays perfectly still even after i wash my face 3 times a day )
- Smudge proof ( last up till 24 hour - deliberately wear it until the next day lol )
- 2 different sides of the comb
(i) curved side - ( first coat to lengthen and double coat to volumize )
(ii) Asymmetrical side ( make the corner of your lashes longer with the fanned out effect to have the feathery eye lashes that makes you eyes look bigger and brighter whoaaaa ) 

Oh yea you can use the tip of the curve for bottom lashes too !

Most importantly, ( although it's somewhere out of my price range la ) but still this amazing thing thing cost only about RM55 ! You can easily get it from any of the drug stores nearby or go online shop to hunt for a cheaper price !

Pancake Craving

Go for one heavy supper in this windy chilling night when most of the pubs and restaurants already closed. All thanks to Pancake on the rocks which opens 24/7 that sits just right at the corner to satisfy our pancake cravings. The lighting in this small restaurant is extremely dim they might need to add more or change the light bulbs otherwise everything is marvelous. Cozy place to chill, and this place has a music all it’s own with fantastical decoration, services, ambience as a whole, concept and the overall setup around this small room is just too wow-some.

It's like, i don't feel comfortable without buying stuff online and the final bill must hit a whopping 200 during my check out else i'll get all cranky feel something is incomplete inside. I have recently bought this thing thing called Olay Pro-X advanced cleansing system and it comes with those functions of deeply cleanses, gently exfoliates, and prime skin for anti-ageing regime. Items that are included in the package are first, the facial cleansing device, the brush head ( change every 3 months for a better result and you can buy it from the Watson store ), a small little 20ml olay skin renewal cleanser and also the AA battery that are easily replaceable. The why i decided to bring it home because of the good reviews and recommendations from the experts.

Talking about the waterproof device, it has 2-speed control for the deep cleansing and skin exfoliating.

It then turns out to be, my skin is now smoother, fresher, and surprisingly brighter after using it for two weeks since the first day i bought. Thing thingy is only 139 and is on it's best deal currently of buy 1 and get one free. You can easily find this from any of the local Watson store and the unique red packaging is super easy to spot.

Sunset Bar and Infinity pool @ Tanjung Aru (KK) by Shangri-La

Have been on hiatus ( as you can see the last was few weeks ago ) because obviously not only for me but for everyone at the beginning of year is always the hectic first quarter you can hardly breath or escape from job. Well for this, no long story, not lot of words. I'll just highlight the most important parts that might be useful for anyone who wanted to find out more about this place.
And this is my first time going to KK.
The only two reasons me flying to Tanjung Aru Resort by Shangri-La (Kota Kinabalu) are:

1) The infinity pool
2) Sun set bar

The two unique selling points of the resort.
It was supposed to be another solo trip but then good things are meant to be shared so i jio another girlfriend of mine ( then she jio her friend so ended up three of us ) decided to escape from the hectic city for a while to see if this place as amazing as how the website describes.

Ok now, look at the infinity pool that i took with my camera.
The wind is too strong for people to enjoy the beach walk, sun tanning, swim, and to enjoy wearing bikini. Don't believe? try taking off your slippers and lie completely horizontal with the coolest shades you brought on the beach chair for a few seconds, your slippers confirm fly away.

Him: Sorry ma'am the busiest hours normally will be around 5 onwards i just afraid you can get a seat when you arrive....and if you want to reserve a table we will collect RM200 from you for the reservation fee and this is non-refundable.

The highlights :

GO find a seat around 4, ( plenty of seats for you to choose ) if you don't want to end up with no table or a worse spot for sunset.

Reservation fee will be RM200 if you want to reserve a table in sunset bar.

Last thing, staffs there are extremely friendly.

Prices are above average ( as expected ). Finger foods, champagnes, wines, beers, mocktails, softdrinks and juices, Gin and Vodkas, Whiskeys, Long/Short/Vintage/Connoisseurs drinks are all available at here. Are you an alcoholic? This place confirm feels like heaven to you. 

Make sure you bring at least 100, ok lah, 100 is quite enough for 2 persons otherwise confirm jialat like myself. It's okay. We can still use credit card instead. Cheh...show off..LOL
