DUBAI : MADINAT JUMERIAH AND EAT@BU QTAIR

Right after the Miracle Garden We then took a cab straight to Madinat Jumeriah, which is the, haiz, the largest Arabian resort in Emirates. Everything appears to be a little too luxurious to me. Lazy to write more because everything is just, shooooo luxurious shooooo expensive. Go google yourself la if you're interested to drop by here while coming to Dubai.

It was around 5 when the sky were already turning dark.

The best part is you get to pose whatever u want in sucha big beautiful space without worrying about those weird stares from people

Shutz a bit blur

Then.....took a cab again for the awesome dinner EVA!

EAT @ BU QTAIR

- The best place in Dubai to eat fish -

Of all the choices why this? This restaurant might not look like much but the foods are fantabulous! The place might not come with a gigantic chandelier in the super huge place like somewhere inside the ballroom where Ed Sheeran filming his Thinking Out Loud and all the landscape photographs hanging around but the foods being served will definitely blow your mind and make your trip all worthwhile even if you're not sleeping for more than 5 hours since the day before after landing. Tell you la you won't regret paying that amount of money for the quality. A MUST-TRY when you're here! Thanks to Nikki and Lulu for the recommendation and arrangement this is definitely by far the best fish ive tried.

We were forewarned that the waiting time would take about 1-2 hours but thankfully there wasn't a lot of people waiting when we reached probably because of the rain in the evening. We have heard a lot of good reviews that this restaurant provides the teramat sedap foods that the others don't so we wanted to give it a try.

Best part was we were actually eating the super hot yummy deep fried fish and large amount of juicy prawns at the freezing cold outside! The wind was relentless and it got so much colder at night we were all battling with our hair at the freezing point when our hands went numb and almost completely stiff while half way eating. What an experience mannnnn !

Look at those bigass fish ! Marinated and ready to cook ! Looks so appetizing ley

It wasn't that many people until a few minutes later after we ordered our foods. People started coming in and q.

Just a small simple restaurant that looks more like our coffee shops or mamak back home. No ambience,  no nothing. We were only allowed to wait inside until the food's ready, it's more like a waiting area inside because your foods will be served at one of the plastic tables outside of the restaurant. Your name will be called once everything's set.

As you can see they have only plastic chairs and tables nearby the road. Not too convincing until you try their foods.

Apparently my camera sucks at taking night photos

Thats our foods ! Medium sized fish, 500g of fresh prawns, some thin breads in pieces, gravy sauce, one big bottle of water and everything cost not more than 150 Dhs how cool it is ! The BEST in DUBAI ley !

Getting more and more people coming.

Worth the wait and worth the money! Don't miss this place whenever you're traveling in Dubai.

Pancake Craving

Go for one heavy supper in this windy chilling night when most of the pubs and restaurants already closed. All thanks to Pancake on the rocks which opens 24/7 that sits just right at the corner to satisfy our pancake cravings. The lighting in this small restaurant is extremely dim they might need to add more or change the light bulbs otherwise everything is marvelous. Cozy place to chill, and this place has a music all it’s own with fantastical decoration, services, ambience as a whole, concept and the overall setup around this small room is just too wow-some.

Best Recommended - Pancakes On the Rocks

Scrumptious food

Everything is being served in such big portion my tummy is like filled with 1000000grams of iron after eating.

3 Steps Quick and Easy Tasty Recipe for Cheesy Pasta

I'm one survivor!
The recipe ( single serving ) below are not my own just sharing what i made for my own dinner tonight.
#lifeofoneloner #sololife

Ingredients :
1) A full cup of fusilli pasta ( it can be macaroni, penne, conchiglie and any other dry pastas you love )
2) A cup of fresh milk ( i'm using magnolia low fat hi cal milk )
3) Half cup of water
4) 1/2 tablespoon of butter ( i'm using margarine as substitute )
5) 1/2 teaspoon of salt
6) Pepper for the finished product

Only 3 steps without much of washing required. Just one cup and one pan/pot are needed to prepare the food.

Step one:
Pour the cup of fusilli pasta with 1/2 table spoon of margarine into a pan.

Step two:
Add a cup of fresh milk, 1/2 cup of water, followed by 1/2 teaspoon of salt into the pan with fusilli pasta.
Step three:
Leave to cook for 5-10 minutes on a moderate fire.

*Do not worry about the amount of liquid you've poured in the pan because the dry paste will absorb a lot of liquids until it's cooked.

Step three:
Prepare 2-3 slices of cheese while waiting. Turn the stove off when there's a little less liquid left in the pan before putting those slices on top of the cooked pasta until it melts.

Ready to be served! Add some salt and pepper for a greater taste of your own.

Thank you! Enjoy !

Buffet Dinner @Traders

Have no idea how we ended up having our buffet dinner in Gobo Chit Chat by Traders Hotel this day but since i manage to take some great pictures i would love to share the dining experience i've had tonight.

This stylish all day dining restaurant is on the 5th floor of the hotel. A very simple decor but quite disappointing when there's no view available (the glass windows are all covered up) so no point requesting for window seats when you're making a reservation. To my surprise there were no crowds when i was earlier expecting the opposite because today is another Public Holiday for the month.

Ambiance is perfect, foods are presented beautifully, service is good, the whole thing is quite satisfying.

Foods are all being served in variety of choices, as are all buffet restaurant in everywhere. It comes with quality seafoods, a sushi bar, bakery, dessert station with the awesome chocolate fountain, open noodle kitchen, different choices of local foods and etc. But to be honest, the taste are just average.

Show you some pictures.

 Sushi Station

Sushi here taste better than many places but it would be fantastic if it comes with more choices.

Open Noodle Kitchen

The open noodle kitchen with a wide selection of noodles and soups and the chef-in-charge is readily cook for you once your order is placed.
Pizzas and pastas are being served at the station next to it.

Local foods like satays, great variety of choices for curry chicken, briyani rice, and many other different local recipes, different chicken, meats, and vegetables cooked in various way are being served in this particular station.

Seafood station

Seafood is one of the highlights for tonight's CNY special. Of course when we talk about the seafood buffet it always come with fresh oysters and so many more i don't really remember the name because i am not a big fan of seafoods.
Again, i don't eat seafood, my friend actually told me it wasn't that fresh, it might be only for tonight.

Shrimp or Prawn? You name it. I have literally no idea what are the rest seafoods that being served in the same station.

Dessert station

My favorite. Another highlight, the chocolate fountain! It tastes average too as compared to the one in Lemon Garden.

Close up view of the fresh oysters.

 No seafoods. Yay!

The fried shrimps and squids, only being served upon request. Love the crispness and crunchiness especially with the sauce.

Close up view

Met a friend of mine who's working at here tonight. He is a little too passionate to make some special drinks for us to try. A non-alcoholic beverage and i was told that the name of the drink is called : Selaicolin....?????? LOL. Prolly ME heard it wrongly as the name sounds mad funny.

The second special beverage called Virgin Pina colada that costs about RM20++. Hope i get it right this time.

The total amount of $ for 2 persons. WHOAA!
Personal opinion, no offense,  just can't believe the prices this restaurant had the nerve to charge when everything is just average and fine. LOL.

And then this is one random thing of 15 seconds i did once i came home.

Bye !
