Why we tend to hurt,
People that we love?
Why we still choose to love,
When we have been hurt?
Why we tend to remember,
Things that could haunt us forever?
Why we tend to hurt people,
With things they could forever remember?
Why we refuse to give up,
With something that not belong to us?
Why we tend to give up,
Before we thought they might be the one that got away?
Why are we so persistent,
With something that we love,
But not something that brings us happiness?
Why?
