Facebook 'dislike' button is too good to be true. I once glanced through the comments and noticed a few cases of people looking for the 'dislike' button to be added into their FB page.
"If only we had this application,i can start to transmit my sentiment to each post and give my true comment when one's isn't true."The curiosity in me wanted to find out why this social networking site allows users to click on "like" button with a "thumbs up" icon and posting comment around but nothing was heard about the "unlike" button to say NO,i Dont like This.!
But in fact,there's such a button being offered around facebook,but that's being proven as a false advertising to this social network. It's also a rogue application that will post spam messages from your account if you allow the permission to access your profile. Just a friendly message, do not simply click on "allow" to the "dislike" application as it might cost you a lot and worse? Permanently losing your facebook account.
So what if this rogue application access into your profile,guess what?
First, it will ask you to complete an online survey, which allows itself to generate money for those who brought this scam up.The survey will help in making money for the scammers, and guide you to a Firefox browser add-on for a dislike button made by FaceMod as a facebook add-on, and those are the things that's being used as bait and it has literally nothing to do with faceMod,
Second,it will automatically update your facebook status without your consent to promote the link that tricks you in the first place before they spread the message virally to your facebook friends
* Disaster !
The purpose of me posting this up as a friendly message for people to think twice before clicking yes to everything. ( Understand the whole thing first la at least ). If a message like this pops up from your pc: "get the OFFICIAL DISLIKE button NOW!" please ignore,ignore and ignore or else you might be in a big trouble with your FB page.
