This post IS referring to someone in particular..or to be exact is MOST of them who have this kinda habit of taking photo before you eat. I'll be all fine if we are going to somewhere very special or the foods or meals are uniquely decorated but hey! Kopitiam? Mamak? KFC? Mcdonald? or PASAR MALAM chinese char kuey teow stall?
I always have this problem going out with the particular group of friends and this day i was mad hungry i could eat a horse. We settled down in this casual dining restaurant and started to order with the menu in each.
Drinks being served first after 20 minutes of waiting before our meal. Four of us in total. All girls.
A's came first. Followed by B's and mine, which is about 5 minutes later. As A was about to use her spoon to taste the soup and i was all ready to wolf down my food, B shouted, in a rather harsh voice saying :
" HEY NO! DON'T EAT FIRST ! WAIT TILL C's COME FIRST THEN WE TAKE A GROUP PHOTO OF OUR FOODS !"
*Rolling my eyes
I then said : But i'm hungry and are you serious? Taking picture of THESE foods?
B said: Wait for a while can? Very fast. Don't eat first ( as she started to move our foods and drinks to the middle of table and arrange them in a way with her so called artistic talents. )
A then added : Okay then but at least let me try my soup first? (Lifting a spoonful of soup into her mouth)
C replied : Ok and please put your spoon aside and arrange the prawn back to the same spot.
So now A agreed with this idiotic act and even stupid enough to ask if she can taste HER soup first. HEY WHO PAY FOR YOUR MEAL? STOP EATING JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE ASK YOU NOT TO?
Insanity.
I mean, ASIANS,
Tell me what's special about curry mee, wantan noodles, fried rice and chicken rice ? Aren't you eat those foods almost everyday in your life? I have no idea what's the fascination is with ZEALOUSLY taking pictures of all the foods but trust me, there are a lot of FOODS you really don't need to take photo of unless you're in a best restaurant with the best foods in town and i tell you, i would absolutely do the same and even don't mind standing on the table in my long dress with heels for the perfect shooting angle! Not only that it's also an act of disrespect and humility. I find it funny when i see a group of girls standing up and start taking photos of their foods with their phone when the rest eating their foods with relish and can't be bothered much to even take out their phone. I don't want that unnecessary attention from people and if you girls do that, means i am categorized as one of these people who have INTENSE ENTHUSIASM in taking a picture of WHATEVER come on! Get a life !
If you're one of these people, I don't mind you letting me know and reject my meal invitation. I will definitely curse you to death if you try taking a picture of curry mee infront of me.
Or,
maybe you have a strong passion in taking food pictures i have no comment about that. If yes, take your own enough. Leave my meal alone.

I saw that picture posted up in her instagram with the caption...
" A simple meal for us in this evening. "
