Speaking of animal dissection its nothing more than killing a life, well at least, most of it. Back then i was in group with 4 students and bravely this one girl picked one of the fattest frogs from this lab cage after being gassed for the dissection experiment. The frog ( i call it Jenny ) was then being nailed to the dissecting board ready to be cut and treated horrifically by those students with first hand experience. Some looked pale and queasy as for myself, I wasn't at all scared nor dreadful about cutting a live frog i just find it extremely cruel i could not bring myself to do this on animals when the rest was so fascinated and taking the enjoyment in doing it.
As i recall the frog from other group came back to live during the dissections, with the amount of pain the frog was suffering he jumped so high with the force ( iron nails all came off the board ), dropped on the floor, with the blood splashing, organs fell apart, and died. Then what about the group of students? At first they shocked, and stunned, then laughed sadistically at each other before they continued picking another frog from the cage for another try. Man that's one frog, not an earthworm. It has one heart, one brain, hands and legs i can't think of why and how cold-blooded these people can really be. Post dissection like stitching the frog back should be included in the assessment otherwise it will be extremely cruel to leave it all exposed and die with the pain beyond imagination. Unfortunately, it never happens.

We only live once, and so do animals.
We feel the pain, they feel it too.
So stop abusing and killing animals.
